Our Museum Held Theme Family Day on Painting Exhibition
“From the Academia to Impressionism —— the Master Pieces of the 19th Century European Painting at the Perez Simon Collection” has hold in our museum from Sep.5 to Nov. 16.To co-operate with it, our education department held three theme family day activities on Sep. 15th, Oct. 4th and Oct. 18th, which respectively were “Greek Mythos and Classicalism”, ”Fashion Paris in the 19 Century”, and ”Symphony of Light and Color” respectively. We collected 15 families to participate each time, consisted of children between 6 and 12 years old and their parents. It attracts many families to participate, who are fanciers of museums.
The three family day activities had different themes, thus the contents and forms are various. At first, children learned about the history and the related knowledge of the theme painting genre accompanied with our museum guiders. Secondly, they were guided by teachers to appreciate the paintings in the exhibition halls. Children looked at the paintings carefully with curiosity, and asked a lot of questions. In question and answer interaction, they learned a lot. After visiting, children went to the activity classroom. Our museum designed a learning book of children art education. They used the learning book, played picture puzzle, drew pictures, designed clothes for ladies at Paris in 19 century and so on. In these activities, children learned a lot of knowledge on art, taken by artistic charm and experienced happiness of creating.
The fourth theme family day” —— Blue Eyes Look at East” will be held on Nov. 1st.
