Boar-shaped bronze zun

The Boar-shaped Bronze Zun unearthed in Jiuhua Village in Xiangtan County is in the shape of a male wild pig. A lid is arranged on the middle part of top of the body, with a restored standing bird as its lifting handle. The restoration is based upon the existing evidences. With eyes looking straight ahead and two tusks on both sides of its mouth, this boar has two standing ears, four strong legs and a drooping tail. The holes on the front and rear elbow are in alignment and there are circular tubes threading through them.
