Hunan Provincial Museum Hires New Design Consultant of Cultural Products
The Ninth Hunan - Taiwan Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Fair opened on November 2, 2013 in Changhsha, Hunan province. Many provincial leaders attended the ceremony and some delivered speeches. At the invitation of the organizing committee of the fair, Duan Xiaoming, party committee secretary of Hunan Provincial Museum was present at the opening ceremony. On behalf of the museum, Duan Xiaoming invited Chen Liheng, president of Franz Co., Ltd and chairman of Asia-Pacific Cultural Creative Industry Association, as the design consultant of cultural products of the museum.
Chen Liheng, the founder of Haichang Group (Franz Co., Ltd) has gained enormous fame both at home and abroad by his great achievements and tremendous contribution to the cultural creative industry, especially in the field of establishing and producing cultural creative brands which are unique to the Chinese people. As an important part of the cultural creative industry forum, the appointment ceremony was held at the site. Duan Xiaoming delivered a speech, introducing the exchange and cooperation between the museum and Taiwan in recent years, and the vision for the renovation and expansion project of the museum. It was hoped that under the guidance of Mr. Chen, Hunan Provincial Museum would achieve substantial progress in the field of cultural industry.

The Hunan - Taiwan Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Fair serves as an important platform for Hunan and Taiwan to conduct economic, trade and cultural exchange and cooperation activities. Up to now, the fair has been successfully held for nine times. The first three fairs were entitled as Hunan – Taiwan Economic and Trade Exchange and Cooperation Summit. It was renamed as the The Hunan - Taiwan Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Fair in its fourth time.
Since its inception in 2005, over 5,000 people from Taiwan have participated in this fair, visiting Hunan province or holding up business negotiations. This fair has already become the largest and most influential one in terms of the economic and trade activities conducted between Hunan province and Taiwan.
