Delegation of Hunan Provincial Museum Attended 2011 Annual Meeting of Regional Museum Committee of Chinese Society of Museums & Symposium on “Free Admission Policy under the Background of Internationalization”

The 2011 Annual Meeting of Regional Museum Committee of Chinese Society of Museums & Symposium on “Free Admission Policy under the Background of Internationalization” was held from October 28 to 31 in Chongqing, which attracted more than 120 representatives from regional museums and related cultural institutions all over the country.

Li Jianmao, vice director of Hunan Provincial Museum, addressed the meeting.

During the meeting, "2011 Working Report" and "2012 Working plan" were reviewed and adopted, changes to the committee were proposed and discussed, and the time, location and organizer of the 2012 annual meeting were decided.

This four-day event also witnessed the symposium on “Free Admission Policy under the Background of Internationalization” as well as the 60^th  anniversary ceremony for  Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum.
