Hunan Provincial Museum and Voice of China Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On December 12th, the Hunan Provincial Museum and the Voice of China Co.,Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement together and announced to work together in three years, using creative artistic forms and outstanding new media technologies to promote Hunan culture.

Duan Xiaoming, director of the Hunan Provincial Museum, Gong Dingming, CEO of the Voice of China Co., Ltd., Chen Xuliang, deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Museum, Zhang Xiaoya, deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Museum, and other members participated in the ceremony. Zhang Yunmeng and Chen Xuliang made speeches. Duan Xiaoming and Gong Dingming, respectively representing the Hunan Provincial Museum and Voice of China Co., Ltd. signed the strategic cooperation agreement. The signing of strategic cooperation agreement means that the Hunan Provincial Museum and Voice of China Co., Ltd. will be strategic partners, and build cooperation in many areas from 2017 to 2019.

Museums witness cities’ history and development. And the Hunan Provincial Museum is the largest museum in Hunan Province, representing Chinese regional culture, and is also among the first list of national first-grade museums developed together by central and local government. Hunan Provincial Museum has always insisted on the development principle of building a non-profit culture organization and rewarding the society with high-quality services.

Recently, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Finance jointly edited Internet+ Chinese Culture's Three Years' Action Plan, in order to promote competitiveness of each market entity. The Strategic Partnership between the Hunan Provincial Museum and Voice of China,Co.,Ltd. is an example of information exchange and learning mutually cross industry to follow the strategy of "Internet+ Chinese Culture."

In three years, the Hunan Provincial Museum will continue to make extensive research about its collections and select those treasures that can represent Hunan culture the most. The Hunan Provincial Museum will also cooperate with the Voice of China to plan more public programs. Voice of China will make full use of its digital and communication advantages to transform museum collections to sustainable and adaptable artistic resources to achieve the deep integration of culture and technology and to promote Hunan culture heritage. We believe that in the next three years the Hunan Provincial Museum will achieve a new step with the help of New Media technology.
