Lectures on Cultural Heritage Conservation Held in University

Professor Luo Xuegang, director of Mawangtui Ancient Cadaver & Cultural Relic Preservation and Research Center and You Zhenqun, associate director of the center and deputy director of Hunan Provincial Museum delivered presentations for the students in Xiangnan Univerisity, Hunan on June 8.

As it was the National Heritage Day, their lectures focused on the cultural heritage conservation and new scientific technology applied in the protection of the famous ancient cadaver in Hunan Provincial Museum. Ms.You Zhenqun also introduced the latest developments of the reconstruction and expansion project of Hunan Provincial Museum.  The audiences were very interested in the topics of museum, cultural relics and heritage.

Li Jun, director of Xiangnan University said it was a great opportunity for college students to learn more about cultural relics and history, and also the importance of cultural heritage conservation.
