"Mommy & Baby Group" into Collection of Uffizi Gallery

On the morning of February 13, 20 pairs of mothers and children in “Mommy & Baby Group” organized by Fengone.com, a fashion website for women, came to Hunan Provincial Museum to participate in the Family-Activity Day of “A Journey into Italy” on Exhibition of Collection of Uffizi Gallery.

After “Funny Quiz” on geography, culture and life of Italy, under the guidance of a docent, lovely kids hand in hand with their mothers carefully and closely appreciated the delicate artworks, deeply attracted by the world-renown paintings and their related stories.

In the last “Parent-Child” interaction part, kids and their mothers made concerted efforts to create DIY Italian style dresses for Maria di Medici, the French Queen, in 15 minutes. Among those colorful designs, No. 10 painting, made by Tang Jiayi and her mother, won “Best Cooperation Award”.

This Family-Day Activity witnessed the inaugural cooperation between “Mommy & Baby Group” from Fengone.com and Hunan Provincial Museum. Person-in-charge of Fengone.com commended, “this activity is very successful, for it not only imparts knowledge to children by games and independent thinking but, what’s more important, promotes the intimate relationships between mothers and kids by idea exchange and dialogue, as well as establishes their shared interests.”
