Volunteers of Hunan Provincial Museum Won “Best Museum Volunteer Team”

"2011 China Museum Volunteer Henan Forum & Hand-in-Hand with History: the Award Ceremony of the third  Museum Volunteer Stars in China" was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province last week.

Volunteer Team of Hunan Provincial Museum won the title of “Best Volunteer Team". And the paper themed On the Management of Museum Volunteer written by Wudi, head of Education Center at Hunan Provincial Museum got the second prize of “Paper of the Year on the Museum Volunteer in China".  

Volunteer team of Hunan Provincial Museum, with a history of 9 years, now has nearly 1900 team members, including 992 long-term registered members and 677 temporary members for special exhibitions. The number of working days of long-term registered members has reached up to 25,633 days, which provided guides to nearly 1.2 million audiences. It once won the title of “Excellent Volunteer Service Base in Changsha” by Changsha Culture Committee and Changsha Volunteer Association in 2010.
