Decoding the Royal Kilns: Imperial Porcelains of the Ming Dynasty Xiangjiang New Area 2014.11.15 - 2015.03.08 The porcelains of the royal kilns in Ming Dynasty feature as a milestone in China’s ancient ceramics, making important innovations in shapes, decorations, techniques and management systems, and were copied and inherited by later generations.	UNE AVANT-GARDE EUROPEENNE: the appreciation of the 20th century collections from Unterlinden Museum Exhibition hall on the fifth floor of Tan Guobin Museum of Contemporary Art. (Xiangjiang No.1 , the intersection of Xiangjiang North Road and Chuangyuan Road, in Kaifu District of Changsha.) 2014.09.29 - 2014.11.05 This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. Hunan Provincial Museum, in collaboration with Hunan’s Tan Guobin Contemporary Art Museum and Unterlinden Museum (France), launched the exhibition “UNE AVANT-GARDE EUROPEENNE: the appreciation of the 20th century collections from Unterlinden Museum” at Tan Guobin Contemporary Art Museum. It will provide an excellent opportunity for citizens in Changsha to view the stunning original works created by world renowned masters, such as Picasso and Rodin. The Genres of Painting-Landscape, Still life& Portrait Paintings: From the Collections of the Uffizi Gallery Hunan Provincial Museum 2010.11.30 - 2011.02.27 “Collections of Uffizi Gallery: From 15th to 20th Centuries” co-held by Italy Uffizi Gallery and Hunan Provincial Museum will be open to the public from November 30, 2010 to February 27, 2011. This exhibition presents a fine assembly of 82 precious paintings in different genres of landscape, still life and portrait from Uffizi Gallery, including The Adoration of the Magi by Filipepi, Leda and the Swan by Tintorett, Venus with Cupid, Dog and Partridge by Titian, etc.
